As part of the Unity in Diversity series on “Healing Separation, Embracing Other”, this evening is led by Amy Longrigg, a Family Reunion Project Officer at Plymouth Red Cross. Her work involves helping refugees reunite with immediate family members that they have left behind. We will hear some of the stories of their journeys to the UK, and the complexities of reuniting with their families. We will also reflect on our own personal and family stories of seeking and finding refuge in unfamiliar places.
All welcome, this is a free event, donations taken at the end.
